Some diners will eat free will eat free during Bermuda Restaurant Weeks just for dining at participating restaurants on a Wednesday night.

The purpose of the new promotion, within the Restaurant Weeks campaign, is to incentivize consumers to eat out in the middle of the week. It’s called ‘Inspired Wednesdays, partly because only restaurant Bermuda-inspired menus will be a part of the giveaway.

Each Wednesday night during Restaurant Weeks a pre-determined collection of local restaurants will participate.

Restaurants participating during the first week on January 17th included Aqua Terra at The Reefs, Fourways and Lost in the Triangle (LITT).

This week, as of today, January 24th and next Wednesday, January  31st, diners on ‘Inspired Wednesdays” have many options to choose from with 37 of the 51 participating restaurants serving Bermuda-inspired menus this year.

One lucky person who eats dinner at one of the participating restaurants will find #BermudaRW scribed onto their dessert plate. If that happens that person, plus one guest, has the Restaurant Weeks portion of their bill covered.

Different restaurants will be named as the annual event continues, and all the menus can be found online.

Serving Bermuda-inspired menus also makes restaurants eligible for the People’s Choice Award. The Bermuda Tourism Authority created the award to motivate restaurants to highlight Bermuda’s culinary heritage because food culture is central to the visitor experience.

During the course of the campaign diners can vote for their favourites in the People’s Choice Award online on GoToBermuda.com/RW18.
