By Kim Swan: The first round of the 2021 PGA Tour Butterfield Bermuda Championship is underway with wind and rain squalls stunting the morning golfers.

The first balls were in the air at 7:35 and at press time 60 golfers have commenced play.
The weather conditions are making low scoring difficult with Brian Hoag top of the leaderboard at -3 under par thru 6holes.
Tied in 2nd place are Hayden Buckley 🇺🇸 at -2 under thru 8holes and Austin Eckroat also at  -2 thru 7holes.
Port Royal’s own Camiko Smith is tied 25th at +2 over thru 7holes and Damian Palanyandi the only amateur in the tournament is at +3 over thru 7holes.
