News Release; HAMILTON, Bermuda – Films at BUEI connue at the Bermuda Underwater Exploraon Instute (BUEI) with the screening of the 2023 Historical Thriller, ‘Golda’, on Saturday, March 9th at 7:30pm in our Tradewinds Auditorium. (Wheelchair Accessible)

‘Golda’ is a biographical drama written by Nicholas Martin and directed by Guy Nattiv. This film premiered at the Berlin International Film Fesval in February of last year. After its commercial release, the film received a nominaon for Best Makeup and Hairstyling at the 96th Academy Awards.

This historical film illustrates the real-life story of the 4th Prime Minister of Israel, Golda Meir (the ‘Iron Lady of Israel’), during the Yom Kippur War, a war which took place in October 1973. The star-studded cast fort his movie includes Helen Mirren(The Queen, The Tempest, Woman in Gold), Camille Cottin (Sllwater, House of Gucci), Liev Schreiber (Party Girl, Isle of Dogs, Asteroid City), Emma-Kate Davies (Doctor in the House, Emmerdale), Jamie Ray Newman (General Hospital, Stargate Atlantis), Lior Ashkenazi (Foxtrot, Our Boys, Mulan), and Ed Stoppard (The Man Who Crossed Hitler, Britain’s Greatest Codebreaker, The Politician’s Husband).

The film is rated PG-13 with a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
