A 27-year-old female pedal cyclist was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department on Monday following a road traffic collision with a car.
Police say traffic was diverted on Harrington Sound Road between Paynter’s Road and Trinity Church Road in Hamilton Parish around 3:30pm.
“Details are limited at this time, however the 27-yr-old female pedal cyclist has been transported to KEMH for treatment of her injuries, which are believed to be serious,” a spokeswoman said.
No word yet on her condition – an update is pending.
