A female officer who was in the process of issuing a parking ticket to a male driver when she was struck by his vehicle, has been treated and discharged from the hospital’s Emergency Department.
The incident occurred around 3pm on Thursday on Reid Street outside of Phoenix Stores.
Police say a 48-year-old Sandys Parish man has been arrested and detained in custody in connection with this incident.
