A 42-year-old woman, who sustained serious injuries in a single vehicle accident just after midnight last night is in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit today, after her motorcycle struck a wall in the early hours of this morning.
The victim, from Devonshire, was travelling east on North Shore Road, near the junction with Seon Drive in Hamilton Parish, around 12:35 when the accident occurred.
Traffic diversions were in effect for nearly four hours while officers processed the scene.
Meanwhile, two other accident victims, who sustained serious injuries in crashes earlier this week remain in ICU today.
The 17-year-old teenager involved in a jet ski crash near Robinson’s Marina, Somerset Bridge, on Tuesday, and the 47-year-old motorcyclist who was badly hurt in a crash on Store Hill, Smith’s, on Monday are both battling serious injuries.
