The motorist cut fee after he was trapped in his vehicle following an early morning two car collision last weekend, today remains listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Police say the 58-year-old man suffered leg and chest injuries as a result of the accident that occurred just before 3am on South Road in Paget, near the junction with Happy Talk Lane.
The other driver, a 32-year-old man, was treated for his injuries, discharged and later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
Meanwhile, inquiries continue and any witnesses are still asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.
