News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – There will be an interruption in bus service Wednesday, August 12 from 10am until 1:30pm to facilitate a meeting for all bus operators.

The temporary service interruption will facilitate a meeting for all bus operators regarding the transportation of students, under Ministry of Health COVID-19 guidelines, as schools are currently scheduled to re-open in September.

The DPT thanks the public for their continuing support.

Meanwhile, bus commuters were today reminded to follow COVID-19 rules when travelling on buses and ferries.

A DPT spokesperson noted that all passengers must wear a face mask and maintain a distance of 3ft from others.

“When choosing your seat, passengers must adhere to seating arrangements that ensure appropriate physical distancing.

“Keep your face mask on at all times,” the spokesperson added.

“The DPT thanks the public for their co-operation and understanding.”
