DPT Advisory: Alternate Bus Routes For Bermuda Heroes Weekend Events

News Release: Hamilton, Bermuda – The Department of Public Transportation (DPT) advises the public that due to road closures in Hamilton for the Bermuda Heroes Weekend, to be held from Friday, June 14 to Monday, June 17, some inbound bus routes to Hamilton will take alternate routes.

 Between 5:30pm on Friday, June 14 and 6am on Saturday, June 15, buses entering Hamilton from the west will do so via Spurling Hill, Reid Street, Court Street and Victoria Street into Central Terminal. Outbound buses will remain on route.

Between 6am Monday, June 17 and 2am Tuesday, June 18, buses servicing the west, and Route 3, will use the same above route both inbound and outbound.

Buses servicing the eastern routes with the exception of Route #3(which will use the above route change), will remain as scheduled.

The DPT takes this opportunity to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
