News Release: February 12, 2019 – Peter Aldrich, Bermuda Country Manager for DHL, announces the silver sponsorship partnering between the AXA End-to-End event and the international courier company.Peter said: “The AXA End-to-End event is donating to some great charities this year and DHL is pleased to support the efforts of the participants who take part. We appreciate the opportunity to have DHL recognized for providing the shipping of important event supplies to the Island. It’s important to be part of the community.”
On Saturday, May 4th the 32nd annual event will bring 3,000 participants together to walk, cycle, row, paddle and swim across and around the island; having fun while raising money for 4 charities – Raleigh International, Windreach, Age Concern and Friends of Hospice. Registration starts in mid-March.
End-to-End Board Chair Anne Mello said: “DHL really stepped in to help in a big way. Shipping of 3,000 back packs, t-shirts, water bottles and medals is a big expense and its imperative that all goods arrive in time and intact. Having DHL as a sponsor in 2019 is much appreciated.”
