The start of the second season of Destination Dockyard events has been pushed back by a week due to inclement weather.
The event series, organised by Wedco, the Bermuda Tourism Authority and PinkSand Entertainment, was scheduled to begin this evening.
Stephanie Rodill, Wedco’s marketing and events manager, said: “We have been monitoring the weather forecast and it has consistently been predicting rain with possible thunder and high winds.
“For this reason we have cancelled tonight’s Destination Dockyard event.
“We are very sorry to have to take this course of action as we had a great line-up for our guests; however, weather permitting, we will back next Monday.”
