The Ministry of Health received another 150 test results today and the good news is none were positive for COVID-19, leaving the total number of confirmed cases at 118.

A spokesperson said there are currently 50 active cases, with 35 persons under active public health monitoring and 15 person in hospital.

A total of 61 people have now recovered, and the total deceased remains seven.

“The average age of all of our confirmed positive cases is 60 and the age range of all of our positive cases is from 18 to 101 years. The age of persons hospitalized ranges between 64 and 91 years, and the average age is 77,” the spokesperson added.

“The racial breakdown of all active cases is: 56 percent Black, 38 percent White and 6 percent Other or unknown.
