No new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the latest round of 1,436 test results received by the Ministry of Health on Friday, with the number of active cases now down to seven and none are in hospital.
“Additionally, there were no recoveries and no deaths,” a Ministry spokeswoman said.
“Since March 2020, Bermuda has recorded 2497 total confirmed cases of COVID-19; out of those, 2,457 persons have recovered, and sadly, 33 COVID related deaths.”
The source of all cases is as follows:
· 308 are Imported
· 2,186 are classified as local transmission of which:
o 1,681 are Local Transmission with known contact/source and
o 505 are Local Transmission with an unknown contact/source
· 3 are Under Investigation
