Once again, no new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the latest round of 1,683 test results received by the Ministry of Health, as the number of active cases dropped down to four with no patients in hospital.
“Additionally, there were three (3) recoveries and no deaths,” a spokeswoman said.
“Since March 2020, Bermuda has recorded 2,497 total confirmed cases of COVID-19; out of those, 2,460 persons have recovered, and sadly, 33 COVID related deaths,” she added.
The source of all cases is as follows:
· 308 are Imported
· 2,187 are classified as local transmission of which:
o 1,681 are Local Transmission with known contact/source and
o 506 are Local Transmission with an unknown contact/source
· 2 are Under Investigation
“As our COVID cases keep going in the right direction with zero new cases, we must continue to take this pandemic seriously to prevent any new outbreaks,” added Minister Wilson. “For us to continue to get back to normalcy, it is important that all public health guidelines remain to be followed.”
