A “pop up drive-through testing site” will be set up at Warwick Academy on Middle Road today (May 22) from 4pm to 7pm.
According to Premier David Burt, they will be able to test up to 72 people, via appointments that must be booked online.
At the COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday, Mr Burt noted that “there will be no walk-ins for those of you in the west end”.
“If this trial is successful, there will be more pop up testing facilities throughout the country, so that people will not have to drive all the way to Southside and may be able to be tested inside of their communities,” he added.
The tests are free.
