Three men were formally charged in Magistrates’ Court this morning, in connection with the fatal stabbing of Marcus Wilson.

Two of the defendants, Isiah Smith, 23 and Jaja DeSilva, 24, are both from Devonshire. The third defendant, Omari Williams, 18, is a Warwick resident.

All three were charged with the unlawful killing of Mr Wilson, 30, on August 20 in Warwick.

Both Smith and Williams were further charged with possessing a knife in a public place, with a blade longer than three inches.

The case will be dealt with in the Supreme Court.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson set it down for mention during the October arraignment session.

All three defendants were remanded in custody until August 31 when bail applications will be submitted.
