Video of the recent shooting incident outside the Spinning Wheel nightclub was circulating on the local social media circuit this weekend.
A police spokesman would only say that the incident remains under investigation.
At last check the victim, a 45-year-old man was listed in stable condition at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
He sustained a gunshot wound to his upper chest and required emergency surgery.
