Bermuda’s Court of Appeal has dismissed the case of a Sandys Parish woman charged with firearms related offences.

The ruling on the case of Tonae Perinchief-Leader, 30, from Sandys was handed down on Thursday.

The defendant has denied allegations that she handled a revolver, a shotgun and 485 rounds of ammunition of different calibres in July 2015.

The case will now go back to the Supreme Court where a date for a trial will be set.
