A 52-year-old Pembroke man was formally charged with stabbing another man – a senior, to death.
David Grant was charged in connection with the death of Henry Santucci on May 16, who died after the alleged incident on Princess Street in Pembroke.
Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe remanded him in custody and adjourned the case until July 1.
Grant was not required to enter a plea to the indictable offence, which will go before the Supreme Court to be heard by a judge and jury.
