A 25-year-old St George’s man was formally charged in Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, for attempting to “unlawfully cause the death of Kenneth Wade on June 13”.

Taaj Muhammad was also charged with using a firearm and alternative charges that he unlawfully shot Mr Wade “with intent to do him some grievous bodily harm” and that he used a firearm for “the shooting with intent”.

The case will eventually go to the Supreme Court.

Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe remanded the accused in custody and adjourned the case to July 22.
