Minister of National Security, Renee Ming today extended condolences “to the families, loved ones and friends of the two men who tragically lost their lives last week”.
In a statement released this afternoon, the Minister said: “I join the community in extending my deepest and sincerest condolences to the families, loved ones and friends of the two men who tragically lost their lives last week.
Minister Ming continued: “These two separate deaths happened in the worst possible circumstances, in such brutal and callous ways. My heart breaks for these young men’s families, and they are foremost on our minds today as we continue to process these tragic deaths.”
Minister Ming commended the Police and their efforts in apprehending a suspect for the Knapton Hill hit and run death.
And she urged anyone with knowledge of both incidents – the assault murder in Sandys Parish and the hit and run death – to “please help these two families find justice by coming forward and sharing what they know”.
