News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The City of Hamilton is thrilled to announce that Summer Sunday: City Funday is back after a forced two-year break and will take place in Victoria Park on Sunday, July 17th. From 1pm – 6pm, the public can enjoy live entertainment, competitions, local bands, carnival games, dance troupes, the Gombeys, vendors, fun castles, prizes and plenty of food and drink. Entry to the event is free.

Senior Events and Marketing Coordinator Tamara Smith said of the event: “The last time this event was held was in 2019 and we are pleased to bring it back as it was a beloved summer event for the Bermuda public. The goal this year is to continue the expansion of the ‘Summer Sunday’ concept by adding, even more, kid-friendly activities, prize competitions and interactive elements for the entire family.”

Summer Sundays in the Park has become a staple event in the City events calendar providing a family fun day in the City that celebrates local music and talent while also supporting local vendors.

The City has partnered with local charity Big Brothers, Big Sisters for a special ‘dunk tank’ fundraiser where you can try your hand at dunking all your favourite familiar faces for a good cause!

In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be July 24th.
