Christmas celebrations without COVID restrictions kicked off at Rosewood Bermuda this weekend, with an Ugly Sweater Turkey Shoot earlier today, featuring four teams wearing “their best ugly Christmas sweater” to take “their best shot at this fun-filled event”.

A spokesperson said: “At the property’s Parent & Child Santa Swing Tournament on December 17th, families unite in a 6-hole round of golf. The event will kick off with a 3pm Shotgun before concluding the festivities in the Grille Room.

“Rosewood Bermuda invites guests to start their Christmas Day celebrations at the Conservatory Bar with Champagne and canapes, followed by an elegant 4-course Traditional Christmas Luncheon in the Island Brasserie with the festive sounds of Steve Crawford on the classical guitar. Celebrations start at 12pm in the Conservatory Bar, followed by lunch at 1pm.

“Continuing the festivities, guests are invited to celebrate Boxing Day on the Beach, complete with a casual beach BBQ with loungers, a bouncy castle at the Fountain pool, an on-beach bar, and the musical stylings of DJ Felix. Festivities begin at 12pm and conclude at 4pm.

“Ring in the new year with Rosewood Bermuda at ‘A Night in Venice‘, held in the Venetian style decorated ballroom and featuring live entertainment by PRESTEGE. Each guest will be provided with three drink tickets and one glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, as well as noise makers and Venetian masks. The party will kick off at 9pm and conclude at 2:30am.

“Rosewood Bermuda invites guests to join in on the first ocean swim of the year at the Annual Tucker’s Point Plunge on January 1st. The plunge will take place at 12:00pm, followed by a simple beach BBQ with an inflatable slide and sounds by DJ Felix.

“For guests who prefer a different start to the new year, the Annual Bloody Mary Tournament will be held at the same time at the Tucker’s Point Club.”

It was also noted that these events are for hotel guests. Community members wishing to attend can book at their local rate to attend.
