Bermuda’s Nirobi Smith-Mills sealed the gold medal in the U17 Men’s 800 Meter event in the 2019 Carifta Games in the Cayman Islands this weekend.

The triumphant teen clocked in with a time of 1:57:95, with his colleague Sancho Smith placing fifth in a time of 2:00:64.

Jezhari Talbot placed eighth in the U17 Women’s 800 Meters event placing in a time of 2:26.32.

Caitlyn Bobb placed fourth in the U17 Women’s 200 Meter event with a time of 24:41 and Ketura Bulford-Trott finished 11th in 25:56 in the preliminaries.

Mikal Dill finished 15th with a jump of 6:30m in the U20 Men’s Long Jump event and Sadiq Nurse placed 16th with a jump of 6.01m.

Sancho Smith finished 10th in the U17 Men’s High Jump event with a 1.75m jump.
