Effective Thursday, April 25, 2019 Bermuda’s public bus service will terminate at the Clock Tower Mall as “part of an initiative to improve” traffic flow and the “pedestrian experience in Dockyard”.
According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Transportation, stops by the North Rock car park and the National Museum will no longer be designated bus stops and all buses will end their runs at the Clock Tower Mall as of Thursday.
Moving forward, he said: “All buses will turnaround in front of the Clock Tower Mall and service the bus stop on the waterside of the roadway.
“All passengers disembarking and boarding in Dockyard will do so at this bus stop.”
Signs will be placed at the three stops advising bus commuters of the changes.
“All buses will turnaround in front of the Clock Tower Mall and service the bus stop on the waterside of the roadway. All passengers disembarking and boarding in Dockyard will do so at this bus stop,” he added.
“The Department of Public Transportation takes this opportunity to thank the public for their ongoing support and attention to these changes.”
