The Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) has announced the appointment of Devin Lewis as Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

A spokesperson said: “Devin Lewis, an expert in the sector of destination sales, has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Business Development at The Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA]. In this capacity, she joins the executive team of the organization and will report to Interim CEO Tracy Berkeley.

“Devin Lewis is an accomplished and respected industry veteran, with more than two decades worth of experience in sales and marketing. Lewis holds a degree from Florida State University and is also actively involved in the San Diego State University [SDSU] Payne School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Masters Mentor Program. Most recently Devin led a team of high-performing sales managers for 10 years while managing the Washington, DC Regional Office for the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority until joining the BTA on October 3rd, 2022.”

“Devin comes to us with extensive experience and a sizable Rolodex of relative relationships in the group sales sector. I look forward to working with her as we continue to expand our reach and deliver against the National Tourism Plan,” added Ms. Berkeley.

The spokesperson added: “In her new role, Ms. Lewis will provide pivotal support to the CEO by leading a highly motivated team to develop and manage an annual strategic sales and business development plan. Ms Lewis will serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and assist in the formulation and administration of sales-related strategic policies with measurable objectives, designed to satisfy the key goals of the National Tourism Plan.”
