Following reports that the online host of the website of the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) “may have been compromised by malware”, the site has been taken offline until further notice.
A spokesman said steps are actively being taken with the vendor to address the issue.
“Members of the public are advised that until further notice, the BPS website will be taken offline,” he said. He also issued an apology “for any inconvenience caused” and said the public “will be notified when the BPS website will be accessible again”.
