The Bermuda Police Service has confirmed the death of Oronde Wilson, Jr, who tragically lost his life in the first road traffic fatality recorded this year on Monday (Jan 4).
A police spokesman said Mr Wilson sustained serious injuries in the motorcycle crash on Middle Road in Southampton, near the junction with Lighthouse Road, near Jews Bay just before 9am.
EMTs performed CPR at the scene before he was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department via ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead by doctors.
Meanwhile, police continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward as the investigation continues.
