In a renewed appeal for public assistance, the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) released images of the suspect in the recent armed robbery at Somer’s Supermart in St George’s.

The incident occurred just before 6am on Monday, November 2.

A spokesman said: “It is alleged that a male brandished a firearm, forced the manager into the store and demanded cash.

“The suspect is described as 5’ 9” tall, medium built, dressed in blue jeans, a black hoody, black sneakers with a surgical mask covering his face.

“The suspect made good his escape on foot north along Duke of Clarence Street with a substantial amount of cash taken during the incident.

“The BPS is thankful to those members of the public who have so far come forward and provided information which has aided us in our efforts to bring the person responsible to justice.

“The BPS again urges that anyone who may have any information on this, to please contact 211, the main police number on 295-0011 or Criminal Investigation Unit @ 247-1744.”
