Members of the public were urged to sign the official book of condolence in tribute to Gilbert Darrell at the Cabinet Office.
The book was made available today and will be also open for signing on Monday.
The former PLP MP and cofounder of the National Liberal Party died last week at the age of 95.
Premier David Burt offered his condolences to Mr Darrell’s family and friends.
“The people of Bermuda owe a debt of gratitude to Mr Darrell who served his country with determination, dedication and conviction,” he said.
The book will be available for signing from 10am to 4pm again on Monday.
