News Release: Hamilton, Bermuda – The home-going service for Brother Glenn Simmons will be held at the Hamilton Seventh
Day Adventist Church on King Street on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
The family has requested that there will be no viewing, however the family will be present at St Paul’s Centennial Hall on Saturday evening from 7pm to 9pm for those who would like to pay their respects to them.
On the day of the service, BIU Members are encouraged to assemble at 1pm at Union Square to march to the church as one body at 1:30pm.
The overflow for the service will be in the Church Hall.
The management of the Department of Public Transportation has agreed to make available buses to transport members and friends to the burial site at Emanuel Methodist Church immediately following the funeral service.
Out of respect for our 1st VicePresident, BrotherGlennSimmons, the BIU Gas Station will be closed all day on Sunday, March 15, 2020 and reopen at the usual time on Monday, March 16, 2020.
The BIU will celebrate the contributions made by Brother Glenn to the Labour Movement after the burial at the Dr EF Gordon Hall.
