News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – Bermuda Healthcare Services, with all COVID precautions in place, will hold its annual turkey giveaway this Saturday starting at 10am.
“We will be ready to hand out turkeys directly into cars only” said Dr Mahesh Reddy, Medical Director.
There will be no gathering of people allowed on the BHCS parking lot according to a flyer circulated to patients.
“It may seem unreasonable, but those persons who do not own cars will have to ask for a ride through our parking lot in order to receive a turkey,” claimed a BHCS spokesperson.
“This year is especially difficult for many Bermudians, so it is important for us to continue the tradition.”
There will be 125 turkeys on hand, 100 for BHCS patients and 25 for the general public.
