There will be no through traffic at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH) on Wednesday, due to crane operations at the site.

A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Hospital’s Board said no through traffic will be allowed “on the campus of the hospital between Point Finger Road and Berry Hill Road in Paget, from 7am to noon”.

“The closure is necessary to facilitate a crane lift of an air conditioning unit,” she added.

Members of the public will be able to access the Emergency Department, the main acute wing entrance and the acute wing visitor parking lot from Point Finger Road.

Access from Berry Hill Road will stop at the Botanical Gardens gate to KEMH.
