Eight firefighters responded to a single vehicle accident after the 11pm curfew last night were two men were extracted from a Honda CRV which appeared to hit a wall in Smith’s Parish.
A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) said the accident occurred at the junction of Knapton Hill and Idle Acres Road around 11:26pm.
“BFRS responded with two appliances, one from Hamilton Station and one from Clearwater Station along with the ambulance from Clearwater and one from KEMH. There were a total of eight firefighters at the incident.
“On arrival, fire crews saw one vehicle vs a wall which was involved in the collision with two males needing extrication. Fire crews quickly extricated both passenger and driver who were then transported to KEMH via ambulance for further medical treatment.
“The cause of the road traffic collision is under investigation by the police.”
