Bermuda’s West Indian Association Issues a Big “Thank You” for Caribbean Hurricane Telethon Support

Bermuda’s West Indian Association (WIA) issued a big ‘thank you’ after they surpassed their $100,000 fundraising goal set for the Caribbean Hurricane Relief Campaign ‘Give from the Heart’ live telethon.

A spokesperson said: “The WIA wishes to thank the Bermuda public, our numerous sponsors and our volunteers for their overwhelming response and their support which contributed to the success of our fundraising event.”

For persons wishing to honour their pledges in person our sub-committee will be available today (Saturday) to receive your cash and cheque donations at the Manchester Unity Hall, on the corner of Union and Victoria Streets in Hamilton, between 11am to 2pm.
