Bermuda Records Another Road Traffic Fatality That Claims a Young Woman’s Life

Another family is today left reeling from the loss of a loved one with word that Bermuda recorded another road traffic fatality overnight, that claimed the life of a young 18-year-old woman.

 

Police and first responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place on North Shore Road Road in Hamilton Parish at 3:29am Sunday Morning.

 

A spokesman said: “It appears that a 18-year-old woman was travelling east on North Shore Road when she lost control of her Motorcycle and crashed.

 

“The woman was rushed to the hospital via ambulance where she later was pronounced dead.

 

“No further information will be given until the next of kin has been identified.”

 

The spokesman noted that the victim was travelling with two other friends when the accident occurred.

 

When police arrived at the scene, he said: “EMT’s were already performing CPR and informed attending officers of their findings.

 

“The victim was then transported to KEMH were Dr Philip Jones, certified the young woman’s death.” 

 

The victim’s father was already at the hospital when the emergency response team arrived.
