Bermuda’s death toll due to COVID-19 rose to 154 as health officials confirmed another death.
The latest figures showed there were 65 active cases, including two people being treated in the hospital.
Last week 39 active cases were reported with seven people in hospital.
At the same time, the Bermuda Hospitals Board placed two long-term care wards under quarantine after an outbreak of COVID-19.
To date, 18,684 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Bermuda, 4,240 were imported, 6,154 were transmitted by a known source or contact, 8,234 were transmitted by an unknown source or contact, with 56 cases still under investigation.
