There is a new academic scholarship available for students seeking higher learning.
Bermuda Is Love announced their scholarship award this week, offering $5,000.
Applicants have up to June 30 to apply.
A spokesperson said the charity group “wants to help Bermudians gain access to higher education”.
“We believe that higher education is a human right and should be made accessible to all.
“We are seeking applicants who are committed to making Bermuda a better place for all and who demonstrate activism and love for our community and the environment. One successful applicant will be awarded $5,000 toward their tuition.
“Eligibility criteria includes enrolment in any associate, undergraduate, postgraduate degree, or technical course, college or university.”

2. Applicants must also include an essay (500 words maximum) answering the question: What does it mean to be Bermudian?
3. Please send all application forms and essays to bermudaislove@gmail.com.
4. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2023.
