Nearly four weeks after the alleged shooting incident was said to have occurred, another teenager was formally charged in Magistrates’ Court today, with shooting at a person with a firearm.

Kentaro Bean, 18, was further charged with discharging a bullet from the firearm and having the weapon and ammunition without a licence.

The alleged offences were said to have occurred on May 2.

The defendant was not required to enter pleas to the indictable offences, which will be dealt with in the Supreme Court.

Senior magistrate Maxanne Anderson released Beam on $50,000 bail with one like surety and placed him on house arrest 24-hours a day, with orders not to contact any witnesses connected to the case.

He would also be fitted with an electronic monitoring device.

The case was set down for the July arraignment session.
