Allied World Bermuda had donated $30,000 to the Bermuda Hospitals Board, Meals on Wheels, and the Eliza DoLittle Society to  assist during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

“Recognizing the great need presented by the impact of COVID-19”, Colm Singleton, Head of the Bermuda Office said this deadly virus “is placing great strains on our hospital and charities that provide food to those in need”.

“As an integral member of the Bermuda community, we wanted to help bolster the resources of these organizations.

“Our donation to the Bermuda Hospitals Board recognizes the pressing need our community is experiencing due to the current health crisis, while the donations to Meals on Wheels and the Eliza DoLittle Society are in recognition of the struggle many Bermudians are experiencing related to food insecurity,” he said.

“As a global organization, we are committed to supporting the communities where we do business and strive to build relationships with individuals and companies in those communities.

“To align with our core business, we support charities where we can create the most positive impact, and right now, that focus is primarily in the areas of health care and food insecurity.”
