The Bermuda Police Service can confirm that following the outcome of the Constitutional matter involving PC Barbi Bishop, PC Bishop tendered her resignation from the Service. The BPS has accepted her resignation with her last working day being September 27.
The Department of Public Prosecutions approved a charge against her of “sending a grossly offensive message via a public electronic communications service”, last year.
The case was dismissed in August this year.
