BUT Passes Motion Of No Confidence In Minister, Commissioner & PS
Bermuda’s public school teachers have passed a motion of no confidence in the Minister of Education, Diallo Rabain, Commissioner of Education, Kalmar Richards and the Permanent Secretary, Valerie Robinson-James.
Bermuda Real understands the motion was passed at an emergency meeting of the Bermuda Union of Teachers (BUT) on Friday (Feb 10).
No official word on the stance taken by the union as of 2pm today.
We’ll have more details once they become available, as an open letter by the BUT explaining the full extent of their grievances is pending.
