Another male motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department on Monday night with suspected head injuries, following a three-vehicle accident in Sandys.

Police say the accident occurred around 8:30pm (June 21) near Scaur Hill Fort Park on Somerset Road.

A police spokeswoman said: “Early information suggests an auxiliary cycle traveling in a westerly direction was negotiating a series of bends, before colliding with two motorcars  traveling in the opposite direction.
 
“The male rider was conveyed to KEMH for treatment of suspected head injuries. There were no reports of anyone else injured.”
 
Forensic officers and  traffic accident investigators processed the scene while traffic was diverted west at Lantana entrance onto the Railway Trail. All eastbound traffic was diverted through Scaur Hill Fort Park.
 
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision, in particular the female driver of a black motorcar traveling west at the time of the collision, to call PC 2542  Simpson on 247-1704 or email wsimpson@bps.bm
