A recent burglary committed in St George’s in broad daylight that was caught on camera, then put it out on social media, is now the subject of an investigation by police.
The incident occurred at a private home on St Luke’s Lane, down at the east end, just days after nearly two dozen homes were subjected to break-ins over the last two weeks.
A police spokesman said: “The Bermuda Police Service is aware of the video and the incident has been reported to police.”
Three videos of the incident were posted on Facebook. One showed a man wearing a purple hooded sweat shirt taking an air conditioner out of the window before climbing in.
Two of the videos show the same man, carrying a purple gym bag, leaving the home. And the other shows him wearing what appear to be grey sweat pants.
